Hattikuni is a Gram Panchayat villages located in yadgir taluka of yadgir district in Karnataka. There are five villages in the Gram Panchayat.
Hattikuni is 18Km from the yadgir district place. It is famous for Hattikuni Dam. It is a Medium Irrigation project. It was constructed in the year 1960 to irrigate fields to the Hattikuni stream. Dam is surrounded by the forests. The dam has nine gates to release the excess water. The Horticulture Department has developed plantations near the Dam. Now it’s become a tourist spot. The Dam has been irrigating 2,145 hectares in Hattikuni and nearest villages.
